- Human Rights and Social Work are closely connected, as Social Work is about ensuring that individuals, families, and communities have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to live safe, healthy, and meaningful lives. Social Workers are committed to upholding the principles of human rights and work to ensure that all individuals have the opportunity to access the rights and freedoms outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
